So you did not mention the common leak problem that is the design flaw on all 9 3s. You did mention that there was more on the one side. I suspect the cabin filter housing is leaking water in and up under your carpet on the passenger side. 😮 Easy fix but a major cleanup😮😮

I also blew my slave cylinder at around 165K miles, it's an odd feeling when the clutch pedal goes to the floor ! I started the process of replacing the clutch, but the job was too big for me to complete in my parking lot, so the car went to my mechanic friend. Probably cost me around $2500 by the time it was back on the road. Recently, I had my Bosch rebuilt alternator seize up on me causing my belt to nearly burn off (the alternator was 13 years old). Also replaced my plugs, DIC, rebuilt the throttle body and replaced couple of silicone vacuum lines. These cars are durable and just keep going.

Dude, that video was worthless. You said you were going to show how the belt was routed. Instead, all you did was show the belt laying under the side of the engine around one or two pulleys, and never showed which pulleys and which direction the belt went back on.

Damn that throttlebody is 590€ o.O. Mine is also Oily. So the checkvalve can cause oil leaks at the throttle body? If so it could be enought to change the checkvalve and clean my throttlebody? Or is it likley that the throttlebody is also broken?

Had feeling this was coming, after that drive at SOC23! Really stoked to see what you do with her!! Looks awesome! You already know this part: step 1 pan drop and orings, but....while there, plastigauge the rod and main bearings to make sure #3 main and all the rod bearings are still within spec. Heard a little possible rod knock coming through the camera mount during light acceleration around 2k rpm. (.025 over rod and main bearings are available, and those rod bearings are on my to do list of winter upgrades this year to get rid of that light knock.)

How is it you got TCS, this was never available on a Viggen, I am in England, UK and the frontwheel experience full pull is absolutely dangerous as anything.

I hope you got a Viggen Clutch as garage fitted a non viggen, they said it was Viggen !!!, then I brought a real Viggen clutch and its been good, especially as I have a 260bhp tune

Please remember the wheels are magnesium and soft. Not a normal shop repair

Please may we have an update as I now work further on my 1999 Viggen with repaired correctly exhaust to manifold catalyst and fixed air con pipe that went sick due to the exhaust issue.

Hey Kyle! About that rust on the rear driver side back wheel, in my 9-3 SE, there is a plastic protection from factory painted as the car color.

I would like to enlarge that hole with a drill if it would work more efficiently. It's about the hose that comes in the turbo pipe (it's metal). Thank you very much!

Brakes can also effect MPG, like the little spring from handbrake can snap and leave that sides handbrake on. Has happend to me and eventually tore the friction suface of from brake shoe😅

Ow extra addendum last year my car got clipped by a BMW x5 that drove on. The BMW lost its mirror while my car was just fine. Retrieved the lost BMW part notified the autorities and that hit and run driver got caught.

Yo watched your vid and I do agree these things are pretty much indestructable Bought a 2005 93 sport estate 2.8 V6 8 years ago did some software upgrades and some bolt ons. Still dont know its top speed but fastest ive driven it was about 170 miles an hour. Put around 75k miles on the clock and since I live in Germany (no speed limit) so ive been driving this car at 150 mh almost daily. Engine holds up tranny holds up absolutly amazing. Ofcourse sometimes some GM parts fail or break down like front springs but these parts are cheap and easily replaced.And fuel consumption is a thing. If you wanna go fast on a budget HIghly recommend

I had a lots of rust on a brand new XC90 under body parts such as exhaust, drive shafts and other components...Volvo engineers in Auatralia tell me its normal for the age...14,000kms. I find it difficult to believe as my Subaru's with over 280,000km's on the clock still has clear exhaust and other underbody parts. Shame on Volvo's underbody paint quality and excuse they use!

Can you do both supercharger pulley and crank pulley . Would that be even more power

Hi Hyle, great video. My daily driver is a 2013 S60 T5. I would say to spray a little release-all on the caliper bracket bolts a week ahead. You don't mention anything further about the EPB. Does it elf adjust on the next use?

Man mine has 99k. Just replaced turbo and timing chain. Timing chain is noisy again. So keep your eyes open for your chain I love your head unit! Did you install it?
